An award-winning artist, Stacy is an Atascadero resident and enjoys capturing the diverse local landscapes with watercolor.  The plentiful vineyards and picturesque coastlines of the California Central Coast provide endless inspiration for her paintings.  Whether painting plein air, or from photos taken while traveling, getting paint to accurately portray the beauty of her subjects, is her ultimate goal.

Originally trained as a chemist, she finds watching the pigments diffuse, blend, and repel each other, fascinating. The unpredictability of the medium is an enjoyable challenge that fills most of her spare time as an empty nester.  When she’s not gardening or playing with grandkids, she can be found sitting at her easel.
